What you don’t see is the same mineral coating the inside of your water heater, where it insulates the element and makes the heater burn more energy for less hot water.

Where does Fate's water come from?
Fate is supplied by City of Fate, drawing from North Texas Municipal Water District. That source is what determines how hard the water is and what else is in it — which is why we test at your sink rather than guessing from the city average.
Do I need a water softener in Fate?
Most Fate homes benefit from one, but "most" isn't "all" and we won't pretend otherwise. The honest answer comes from testing your water. If it comes back soft enough that a system wouldn't pay for itself, we'll tell you that.
How much does a water softener cost in Fate?
It depends on your water hardness, the size of your home and where the equipment can go. Our Complete Home System Package has a published original price of $4,599 and we run discounts against it. Installation is free and the system carries a lifetime warranty.
How long does installation take in Fate?
